About: I hope you enjoy it!

I would like to give thanks and credit to Dean Fleischer-Camp and Jenny Slate for their wonderful film, Marcel the Shell With Shoes On, which is the inspiration for my entry. Nikon CoolPix P50 digital still camera.

Judging Guidelines

1) Originality - the creative adaptation of the viral video with a different spin or comedic spoof of the original.

2) Quality - the content must be entertaining, clever and in good taste.

3) Promotion - the originality of the visual representation of "Genesis Matrix". The video must represent Genesis Matrix in a positive manner.

4) Video's number of "likes" on the Matrix Video Facebook page.

(Voters must first like the facebook.com/GenesisMatrixVideo page, in order to then be able to vote for their favorite video by clicking the "like" feature under their video or videos of choice. Tally will be determined by number of unique "likes" by contest closing date.)

First round of judging will focus on guidelines 1-3 for the selection of the top ten videos. Top ten will be judged based on all 4 criteria to determine the final prize winners.

Voting Period: March 25, 2011-April 4, 2011

Prizes:

1st Prize: $3000 cold, hard Canadian cash and $1000 rentals credit* at the Genesis Matrix Pro Shop

2nd Place: $500 cash and $500 rentals credit* at the Genesis Matrix Pro Shop

3rd Place: $300 cash and $300 rentals credit* at the Genesis Matrix Pro Shop
