SPOOF YOUR FAVORITE VIRAL VIDEO CONTEST

It's so easy to enter, all you have to do is film & edit an outstanding video showcasing a spoof on your favorite viral video that creatively integrates the Genesis Matrix logo for a minimum of 3 seconds on screen time, upload it to your vimeo or youtube account, read and agree to the regulations and releases, fill out our online entry form, copy and paste your video links and hit SUBMIT. Tada, you are now in the running to win some serious CASH!

After the closing date, a panel of judges from Genesis Matrix Video will select the top 10 videos and display them on facebook.com/GenesisMatrixVideo. Don't forget to check back as of March 25, 2011 when they top videos will be posted. Then you will get the chance to promote your video and get as many "likes" as you can by sharing your link and getting your friends to vote for you on the Genesis Matrix Video facebook page.

Judging Guidelines

1) Originality - the creative adaptation of the viral video with a different spin or comedic spoof of the original.

2) Quality - the content must be entertaining, clever and in good taste.

3) Promotion - the originality of the visual representation of "Genesis Matrix". The video must represent Genesis Matrix in a positive manner.

4) Video's number of "likes" on the Matrix Video Facebook page.

(Voters must first like the facebook.com/GenesisMatrixVideo page, in order to then be able to vote for their favorite video by clicking the "like" feature under their video or videos of choice. Tally will be determined by number of unique "likes" by contest closing date.)

First round of judging will focus on guidelines 1-3 for the selection of the top ten videos. Top ten will be judged based on all 4 criteria to determine the final prize winners.

Entry Deadline: March 21, 2011 12:00pm

Voting Period: March 25, 2011-April 4, 2011

At 11:59 am on Monday April 4, 2011, voting will be closed and winners will be contacted and announced that afternoon.

Prizes:

1st Prize: $3000 cold, hard Canadian cash and $1000 rentals credit* at the Genesis Matrix Pro Shop

2nd Place: $500 cash and $500 rentals credit* at the Genesis Matrix Pro Shop

3rd Place: $300 cash and $300 rentals credit* at the Genesis Matrix Pro Shop

*Rentals credits may be used for available production or post production equipment owned by Genesis Matrix and/or post production services provided by Genesis Matrix.
