Sony Warranty Center - Repairs/Parts/Service/Maintenance

Genesis Matrix is your one stop Sony service and warranty center. We provide repairs, parts, service, and maintenance for Sony products. We also offer parts and warrantee services for most of the products we carry.

Advanced Cleaning Service - $120

Genesis Matrix provides an in-house 1 hour camera and VTR cleaning and basic evaluation service. This service includes:

1. Overall cleaning and detailing of chassis, lens, buttons.
2. Check exterior condition of unit, looking for broken or warn parts.
3. Cleaning of the heads and a full tape path clean.
4. Test record and playback with full audio and video to evaluate functionality of image and sound.
5. Evaluation report including list equipments head, tape, and operation hours.
6. Evaluation of current product firmware and update to latest version.
7. Post firmware upgrade test to verify functionality of existing and new functionality.

Engineering Level Equipment Evaluation - $120 -min 1hour bench charge

Genesis Matrix working together with the Broadcast Service Division of Sony Canada, provides Sony equipment evaluations and repairs on all levels of hardware. If you would like to have your Sony product evaluated and receive an estimate on it's repair, we can do that!

*If you decide to not go ahead with the service or repair then the $120 will be charged before the equipment may be released back to it's owner.

* If you decide to go ahead with the service/repair, then no evaluation charge will be applied
